A story about a (Unhinged) playboy, Jabari, meeting his One, Cassie (who isn’t always as discerning when choosing her love interests, and also likes to settle).
This story (Urban Fiction) deals with some heavier subjects like domestic violence and mental abuse, there is mention of on page violence (gun and physical), some illegal activities (off page), and cheating.
Balancing this out are some spicy (open door) scenes, unhinged behavior (yes, I find that to be a positive in my reads), hilarious (to me situations), step daddy vibes, some light FAFO (cause who you thought she was?) and love.
I’d recommend this book to those that love urban fiction, and are not easily triggered (see subjects mentioned).

So they were already intimately familiar with eachother, during her supposed relationship with Sam.
