As always, I am starting off with a thank you to all the authors that I’ve read this week. You are so very much appreciated for your time, and dedication to your craft.

Let’s dive into my week.

Still not at 100%, so I took the week off to dedicate to a full recovery. Which means that one of my reviews is still in my drafts 😩, I will finish it though!
Some stats about my week
- I completed 15 (2 not documented) books this week, still busy reading nr. 16
- from 14 different authors (2 new to me)
- totaling 2.042 pages
- making it around 136 pages per book
- and 292 pages read per day
Overall a decent week for me. I’m almost back to my daily average

Overview of the books read

Week Opener

Starting my week off was new to me author Mrs. Ke’Asia Morris with a Young Thug’s Kryptonite.
I already explained how I got to know about her pen. And apparently a dirty mind does run in threes. Because BAY-BE, them in the bedroom was F-I-L-T-H-Y

I’ve been pendling between different running collabs this week, so after my first read I went to the Cupid’s Countdown collab with Mrs. Jessica Terry.
Let me tell you, Mrs. Terry? She is something else.
This read was 54 pages, and in those 54 pages she offered me a complete read. I didn’t feel like there was anything left to say, AND it didn’t feel rushed.

I went back to the Recipe for Love series with the drop of Mrs. Jen Elle‘s book Montez & Azalea, and when I tell you that Azalea is a good woman? A GOOD WOMAN!
Because it couldnot have been me!!
Wishy washy behind having Montez?

Mrs. Morgan Rose was next up. Now Dupree?
SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Ma’am you are married with kids!
SheReadsaLot:

And back to Cupid’s Countdown collab I went. Mrs. Olivia Linden dropped Déjà Vu. Which left me wanting more of the second chance romance part.

Mrs. Egypt Cynaé came back with a story about Frost and Wynter in Impress Me.
I remember me telling Mrs. Cynaé that I wanted to read more about Frost.
Frost was a pain in the behind, I actually was screaming at Wynter at one point to not give in!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot: Yes… Yes… I was 😅
However them together in the bedroom?!

I went back to the Cupid’s Countdown collab to pick up another read by Mrs. Ke’Asia Morris, Forever Good in his Arms.
Now… I was side-eyeing Layton a bit. But she remained strong!
I don’t get where all these people get their patience from, it’s like a neverending well of patience that they seem to have access to!
Maybe I should go and find it 🤔

I picked up another collab 🫣. Snowed in Shadow Wolf Creek Collab. First book, Snowed in with the Alphas, in this collab was by Mrs. Melody Lynch.
This read dealt with some triggering content like domestic abuse, emotional abuse, cheating, and murder.
Don’t worry though. Everybody got exactly what they deserved!

Mrs. Rene Wolfe packed a lot in a quick read. This was an instalove story twice over.
Not going to give too much away on this one, just know that Mrs. Wolfe didn’t disappoint.

Mrs. Jahquel J. had a release as well this week. And promised a read without a cliffhanger 💃🏾, AND a standalone.
I was HOOTING AND HOLLERING
Mitchell and Wanda were so different from eachother. You would think that they just wouldn’t make any sense. Yet somehow they did!
AND STILL… Wonder?! Sometimes she had me like

Just out there… Without a lick of common sense!

Mrs. Kimberly Brown released the second installment in the Dillinger Chronicles, Maceo.
This read was ACTION packed. All the suspense, had me just.

All of it was worth it though, because we got a happy ending 🤭

Book 7, Mari & Amir, in the Recipe for Love series was penned by new to me author Mrs. Teisha Reid.
This recipe for love was fast acting, because it turned them from enemies to lovers in the blink of an eye.
Don’t know how Mari did it, but she did 😅. Maybe because they were young, and still young when it happened?
Week Closer

Mrs. Elle Madearis was my week closer this week. The blind date with a werewolf went about as I suspected.

Ayira was so stubborn though.
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Now hold up, Chozen didn’t exactly make the best impression either!
SheReadsaLot:

That was my review for this week folks.
Here’s to the new week ahead
