I am back, and I am still a bit in my feelings after my last read.
So I’m returning to another love of mine, Urban Fiction.
This time a read by a new (to me) author, Mrs. Keely, who wrote Heart of a Thug: Omar & Keisha’s Tale. Which is her author debut.
I’m currently 20% in, and Mrs. Keely isn’t holding any punches.
It’s about Omar, who’s mother and little brother got murdered, and takes care of his ill father. And Keisha, who has a traumatic past.
‼️Remember that this is an Urban Fiction, so it deals with heavier themes. However I have gleemed one additional trigger, and that is domestic violence. If you decide to read this book, please be mindful of your mental well-being.
