Shâhzâdeh: The Consortium Book Eight by Mrs. Dandridge Monroe

It’s another release day. This time for Mrs. Dandridge Monroe who released the eight book in her The Consortium Series.

Here I am, unable to sleep! See Mrs. Monroe posting along, and a spoiler post for Shâhzâdeh (Xerxes)..

Spoiler post?

I went and searched right away! And there it was!

Which also means that I won’t be sleeping right away 😅.

This is the love story of Xerxes and Vanya.

Now don’t mistake Xerxes for anything other than the Black man he is! (He hates when you don’t recognize his Blackness).

As this is the Consortium series (Organized Crime syndicate/family) you should expect some violence, and unhinged characters. Besides that Mrs. Monroe also gives us the following content warning:

If you don’t like reading in dialect, this isn’t the book for you because we have the Scots and the Persians battling for accent supremacy.

There are references to abuse that Vanya experienced in her past, but nothing in detail. Please take care of yourself and skip this title if it will trigger you.

Well, I’m off!
