I’m cautiously optimistic!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Ma’am, why are you opening up spinning tales?
SheReadsaLot to Audience: Now… I’m not spinning tales necessarily!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Ma’am!!! You finished Mrs. Dandridge Monroe’s For the Love of City. And did I or did I not see you skipping out from work at 3:30 pm?
*Flashback to SheReadsaLot at 3:30pm*

SheReadsaLot: In my defense! Me being happy to have finished a book, and leaving work early doesn’t negate me cautioning my optimism. You know how things get when I’m too optimistic, and the work isn’t completely finished yet!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: How I want to say you’re wrong!

So tell the audience about your finished read of today!
I finished Mrs. Monroe’s For the Love of City! And when I tell you Mrs. Monroe knows how to write a man?
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: She sure does!

SheReadsaLot: *wipes sweat of forehead* Is it hot in here?
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: City will have that effect on you. I mean he’s a protector in every sence of the word, family oriented, has excellent control of his nether regions, knows how to actually support and uplift his woman.
SheReadsaLot: AND knows how to put Porsha into a dicoma.
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot to Audience: And you know it’s Mrs. Monroe, so this story is unapologetically Black, with found family, community building, a FMC unafraid to be who she is (even if cautious of love), and a lot of wit and gems throughout!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: So… I assume it’s safe to say that you liked it?
SheReadsaLot: Come on now. You know there’s no need to ask! Mrs. Monroe hasn’t disappointed me yet, and I don’t see that happening easily. But you do know what this means right?
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: What are you talking about, what could it possibly mean?
*SheReadsaLot heading back to Mrs. Monroe’s site to purchase a physical copy*

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Get back here, and let the audience know if they should be reading anything beforehand?

SheReadsaLot to Audience: This book is best enjoyed by reading Mrs. Monroe’s The Quarterback’s Keeper beforehand. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have books to read, some sleep to catch up on, and a collection to complete..
