I picked up Mrs. Des’ Amor‘s first book after her brain surgery, Can You Handle It? A novella at 118 pages, that held my attention for all of it. I got some laughs, some spice

And off to Mrs. Bella Jay we go! I already shared with you that I was reading With Kookies on Top. I got to 94%, when I was informed of a timelapse novella taking place before the epilogue, With Kookies On Top: Kookie Crumbs…

And about the story!

This story at it’s core was about self discovery. Finding yourself again after loss, who you are, and who you want to be. Not only for others, but for yourself. It dealt with some triggering themes, like adultery, bullying, mental health, grief, and fertility.

I won’t lie, there were some very side-eyeable moments.
