I’m not saying I am a donkey, but I do feel like an &ss…

For assuming that is.

Yesterday I had a relatively “good day”. I managed to go to the gym, get some reading done (I finished The Saxophonist by Mrs. Rae Anderson), and was only working till around 9PM.

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: A 12 hour day after making 14 hours a day, really does feel like a relief doesn’t it?

SheReadsaLot: It did, but I was more happy to have finished a book, even if it was with a mild cliffhanger. I mean the second book was already available.

We made progress right? Finally, so today was supposed to be a “short” day, with minimal to no hours worked in the weekend!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: That sounds like cause for celebration!

SheReadsaLot: I know right!

But I didn’t account for human behavior!

Some members of the team feel that their experience, expertise and position is being sidelined.

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: To be fair, they aren’t wrong in their feelings. And then again you have to ask yourself why people feel the need to do so as well.

Meaning some of those members decided to do EXACTLY as was told, and wouldn’t give not one bit more than exactly what was asked of them, even if they knew more was required…
