SheReadsaLot to Audience: Ya’ll have been on this journey with me from the start, as I posted about this series from episode 1, and had to do an in-depth review on it, EXACTLY one year ago. I’m telling you ALL of them had their issues!!!
SheReadsaLot: Not ONE of them had a lick of common sense!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: You’re going to miss them aren’t you?
SheReadsaLot: Yes!

Audience to Audience: Why would she possibly miss them? With all the trouble they got themselves into?

SheReadsaLot to Audience: I hear you, I hear you! And it’s simple actually!
They are very much flawed, and also very much human. It’s easy to judge people from the outside looking in.
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: And judge you did!
SheReadsaLot: Ma’am. You cannot convince me, that she did not smell herself! YOU CANNOT!
And learning more about these characters, I felt for them!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: How about Dreka?
SheReadsaLot: Gurl! You already know… It’s on site!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: What more can you leave the audience with regarding this read?
SheReadsaLot to Audience: Be prepared for a bumpy ride once more, and make sure you have some tissues on hand!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Ma’am… Tissues? In the Ghetto?
SheReadsaLot: Ma’am, those are real people in…

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: And finally one of our faves released!
SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Now Ma’am… Not too much on Mrs. Frien now! Let’s focus on if it was worth the wait?

SheReadsaLot:

SheReadsaLot: It was! Although I’m still astounded by the fact that Mrs. Martin made me love a goon!!!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: I thought Ace was a cop?
Ace to SheReadsaLot: “It’s Detective Carter“
SheReadsaLot: Like I said… Goon… Mrs. Martin went to the other side of the law this time… We went from some wholesome characters to goons!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Ma’am…

SheReadsaLot: Don’t act like you don’t know how I feel about those people Ma’am…
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: But Mrs. Martin made you love this one?
SheReadsaLot: She did!!!

SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: So tell the audience what made you love Ace!
SheReadsaLot to Audience: I’mma be brief, and very much speak in generics with this one, because the book hasn’t been out even a week yet. Best believe I’ll be back to go in depth about this one though!
Mrs. Martin managed to make these characters feel so real to me, I felt their struggles, their fears, their love, and jubilation. They jumped off the page, and the writing made me feel as if I was a fly on the wall. Providing me with a better understanding of their inner workings, while I got to experience them letting their love come out of hiding.
SheReadsaLot to Mrs. Martin: Mrs. Frien?! This to me is your best work to date, and dethroned my previous favorite of yours. I loved it, and will be patiently waiting to see what’s next!
SheReadsaLot to SheReadsaLot: Now why are you lying to that lady? You know you’ve been in her DM’s already to see when the next one drops!

SheReadsaLot: I mean a gentle nudge don’t hurt right?

And that is how we’ve come to the end of this Week! And remember… I might not be writing in-depth about the books, but I’m still writing about them! Meaning I’d recommend them. Now let’s see what next week will bring us.
